These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern the provision of handyman services ("Services") by Boles Home Services, LLC ("Company", "We", "Us", "Our") to clients ("Customer", "You", "Your"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Boles Home Services, LLC provides a variety of handyman services, including but not limited to repairs, installations, maintenance, and other related tasks ("Services"). A detailed description of the Services will be provided to the Customer upon request or in a written estimate.
We provide Services primarily within Pinellas County, Florida, and surrounding areas. If you are outside of Pinellas County, please contact us at (727) 606-9500 to confirm availability in your area.
Estimates:
All estimates provided by Boles Home Services, LLC are based on the scope of work, materials, and time required to complete the project. We will inform you of any changes to the estimate prior to starting or during the job.
Payment Terms:
Payment for Services is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payments via cash, check, or credit card.
Deposits:
For larger projects, a deposit may be required prior to starting work. This will be communicated to you in advance.
Late Fees:
Invoices not paid within 30 days of completion will incur a late fee of 10% per month on the unpaid balance.
Scheduling:
We will coordinate with you to arrange a mutually convenient time to perform the Services. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
No Show or Failure to Provide Access:
If the Customer is not present at the scheduled time or fails to provide access to the property, a rescheduling fee may apply.
Access to Property:
The Customer agrees to provide safe and clear access to the property and areas where the work will be performed.
Safety and Health:
The Customer must inform us of any known hazards on the property, including but not limited to unsafe conditions, toxic substances, or health risks, prior to the start of work.
Permits and Licenses:
Permits are out of the scope of the services we are offering.
Boles Home Services, LLC carries general liability insurance to cover damages to property or injuries caused by our workers while performing the Services. However, we are not liable for damages or injuries caused by factors outside of our control, such as pre-existing conditions, natural disasters, or negligence by the Customer. The Customer is responsible for ensuring the property is free from hazards that could cause injury to our workers or damage to our equipment.
We provide a 30-day warranty on the labor associated with the Services we perform. If any issues arise from our work, please notify us immediately, and we will assess and, if necessary, correct the issue at no additional charge within the warranty period. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, neglect, or modifications by the Customer.
The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Boles Home Services, LLC, its employees, agents, and contractors from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of the Customer’s negligence, misuse of the Services, or failure to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, specifically Pinellas County, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service shall be resolved through [arbitration/mediation] in Pinellas County, Florida. Both parties agree to bear their own costs unless otherwise directed by the mediator or arbitrator.
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website (www.BolesHomeServices.com) or communicated directly to our customers. The revised Terms of Service will apply to any Services provided after the date of modification.
We reserve the right to terminate the provision of Services to any customer at our discretion if, in our opinion, the customer is uncooperative or breaches the terms of this Agreement.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
